    Reasons to hate Trotskyism.

    1. For we can have no way to Socialism except by the authoritative regulation of the economicforces and resources of the country, and the centralized distribution of labor-power in

harmony with the general State plan. The Labor State considers itself empowered to send

every worker to the place where his work is necessary. And not one serious Socialist will

begin to deny to the Labor State the right to lay its hand upon the worker who refuses to

execute his labor duty. But the whole point is that the Menshevik path of transition to

Socialism is a milky way, without the bread monopoly, without the abolition of the market,

without the revolutionary dictatorship, and without the militarization of labor.- Leon

Trotsky Terrorism and Communism Chapter 1 The Soviet Government and Industry.

    2. The very principle of compulsory labor service is for the Communist quite unquestionable."He who works not, neither shall he eat." And as all must eat, all are obliged to work.

Compulsory labor service is sketched in our Constitution and in our Labor Code. But hitherto

it has always remained a mere principle. Its application has always had an accidental,

impartial, episodic character. Only now, when along the whole line we have reached the

question of the economic rebirth of the country, have problems of compulsory labor service

arisen before us in the most concrete way possible. The only solution of economic

difficulties that is correct from the point of view both of principle and of practice is to treat

the population of the whole country as the reservoir of the necessary labor-poweran

almost inexhaustible reservoirand to introduce strict order into the work of its

registration, mobilization, and utilization. Leon Trotsky, Dictatorship vs. Democracy( aka

    terrorism and communism )1920.

    3. Dwight Macdonald in Once More: Kronstadt , shows how Trotsky was an apologist for themassacre.

    4. TROTSKY PROTESTS TOO MUCH By Emma Goldman5. They are vanguardist. The dynamic of revolutionary events is directly determined by the

rapid, intensive and passionate psychological conversion from the pre-revolutionary class

structures ... the masses engage in revolution entirely without a finished plan for social

transformation, but in experiencing the bitter sentiment of no longer being able to tolerate

the old regime. It is only the leading sections of the class that possess a political programme

which, nonetheless, needs to be to be verified by events and approved by the masses. The

essential political process of a revolution is precisely located in the working class

understanding the problems posed by the social crisis, and that they actively orientate

themselves using the method of successive approximation ... It is only by the study of the

political process of the masses that one may understand the role of parties and of leaders

which we are too inclined to ignore. They constitute a non-autonomous, but very important,

element in the process. Without a leading organisation the energy of the masses will

dissipate like steam from a broken cylinder. However, the movement doesnt come from the

cylinder, nor from the piston, but from the steam.

Or this one, The turn is now to the proletariat, i.e., chiefly to its revolutionary vanguard. The

historical crisis of mankind is reduced to the crisis of the revolutionary leadership(Trotskys

    Transitional Program)

    6. They like Lenin who was a dictator. You cannot do anything without rousing the masses toaction. A plenary meeting of the Soviet must be called to decide on mass searches in

Petrograd and the goods stations. To carry out these searches, each factory and company

must form contingents, not on a voluntary basis: it must be the duty of everyone to take

part in these searches under the threat of being deprived of his bread card. We can't expect

to get anywhere unless we resort to terrorism: speculators must be shot on the spot.

Moreover, bandits must be dealt with just as resolutely: they must be shot on the spot.

Vladimir Ilyich, your concrete actions are completely unworthy of the ideas you pretend to hold.

Is it possible that you do not know what a hostage really is a man imprisoned not because of

a crime he has committed, but only because it suits his enemies to exert blackmail on his

companions? ... If you admit such methods, one can foresee that one day you will use torture, as

was done in the Middle Ages.

I hope you will not answer me that Power is for political men a professional duty, and that any

attack against that power must be considered as a threat against which one must guard oneself

at any price. This opinion is no longer held even by kings... Are you so blinded, so much a

prisoner of your own authoritarian ideas, that you do not realise that being at the head of

European Communism, you have no right to soil the ideas which you defend by shameful

methods ... What future lies in store for Communism when one of its most important defenders

tramples in this way every honest feeling? Peter Kropotkin, in a letter to Lenin (21 December

    1920)

Sectarian attempts to build or preserve small revolutionary unions, as a second edition of the

party, signify in actuality the renouncing of the struggle for leadership of the working class.-Trotsky.

Without inner democracy no revolutionary education. Without discipline no revolutionary

action. The inner structure of the Fourth International is based on the principles of democratic

centralism: full freedom in discussion, complete unity in action

The world political situation as a whole is chiefly characterized by a historical crisis of the leadership

    of the proletariat-Trotsky.

    The vanguard of the Revolution ought to wake from indolence all other elements of the people;

The fight against bad language is also a part of a struggle for the purity, clearness, and beauty of

    Russian speech

The fight against bad language is also a part of a struggle for the purity, clearness, and beauty of

    Russian speech

No one corrects such defective expressions out of a sort of false pride. That is wrong. The struggle

for education and culture will provide the advanced elements of the working class with all the

resources of the Russian language in its extreme richness, subtlety and refinement. To preserve the

greatness of the language, all faulty words and expressions must be weeded out of daily speech.

Speech is also in need of hygiene. And the working class needs a healthy language not less but rather

more than the other classes: for the first time in history it begins to think independently about

nature, about life, and its foundationsand to do the thinking it needs the instrument of a clear

    incisive language.-Trotsky.

The Communist Party is the fundamental weapon of revolutionary action of the proletariat the

combat organisation of its vanguard that must raise itself to the role of leader of the working class in

all the spheres of its struggle without exception, and consequently, in the trade union field-Trotsky.
