A Letter romNAR 2014 President Steve Brown

Given our more than 100 years o real estate experience,

proessional knowledge, the code o ethics and the dedicated

desire to make our communities, our states and our country

better, we as REALORS must be responsible in protecting

private property rights and incentives in place that enable

millions o our citizens to realize the American Dream o

    property ownership.

Te REALOR Party Initiative, launched in 2010, provides the tools, services, programs

and grants to take our advocacy eorts and community involvement to a higher, more

eective level than ever beore. Since its inception, nearly 600 state and local REALORAssociations have utilized nearly 4,000 programs oered through the REALOR Party

Initiative. Tese resources assist REALOR organizations throughout every part o the

country in a wide range o programs, rom political, legislative and regulatory involvement to

community building projects on both the State and Local levels.

And, o course, these resources are available to all associations to help raise RPAC unds and

activate member mobilization so we can elect REALOR Champions to public oce and

advance public policies to protect and encourage real estate ownership.

Please use this guide as a resource, especially as you analyze your needs and lay out your goals

in the year ahead. Tere is a brie description o each program the REALOR Party oers,

as well as contact inormation on how to learn more, and how to apply or each resource.

In addition, your state has its own REALOR Party Consultant. Tis consultant is your

Please know you are not alone in your eorts to implement the programs that can benet not

only our industry but also our communities.

Te time is nowto make a positive dierence or our industry and our country. You are the

    REALOR party!
