The school centreThis is the school centre in Uetze. There are three different types of schools. Altogether, about 1.600 students have lessons here. Our school, the Realschule, has got about 650 students.
The school building outside
Around the school building there are a lot of oak trees. During the break, the young students play on the playground.
How do the students come to school?
The students are from 8 different villages. They are picked up by buses. The pupils from Uetze come by bike or on foot.
Classrooms
Each class has a classroom and the teachers come to the pupils.
We have special rooms for music, biology, physics, computer science and chemistry
Timetable
• The lessons start at 7.55 am and end at 1pm or sometimes at 3pm
• Compulsary subjects:German, English, French, Biology, Physics, Chemistry,
Maths, Economy, Art, PE, Religion, Geography, History and Politics

• Extracurricular activities in the afternoon :

There are many sports clubs in Uetze, for example, football, handball, volleyball, riding horses and shooting clubs

Onion Festival
Uetze is famous for growing onions. Every yearin September, there is a festival where there is music, dancing and of course lots of food made from onions.
The Ersepark is a leisure park.There are many different attractions, for exemple the pedal boat. There is also a fairyland.
Lower -SaxonyUetze is in the state ‚Lower-Saxony‘. The capital is Hanover. In Lower-Saxony, there is the North Sea in the north and the Harz Mountains in the south.

Lake „Leinemaschsee“
The name of the lake comes from the so-called "Leinemasch“,the name of the area. The lake was created artificially for freetime activities for the population.You can go canoeing and sailing as well as windsurfing and kitesurfing and you can do pedal boating.
Nanas
Nanas are sculptures created by the French artist Niki de Saint Phalle.
They are situated along the river ‚Leine‘
The islands of the North Sea
There are seven islands: Borkum, Juist, Norderney, Baltrum, Langeoog, Spiekeroog and Wangerooge
