    FALLEN ANGEL

FALLEN ANGELThe Quran clearly states that Satan was an angel, by virtue of the immensepowers and rank bestowed upon him. This is why he is addressed as anangel prior to his fall. By definition, a jinn is a fallen angel . Satan's rebellionteaches us that the angels were created with minds of their own, andabsolute freedom of choice.

In God's kingdom, certain creatures are necessarily given the powersneeded to perform their duties. Satan believed that his God-givenpowers qualified him to function as an independent god. Asevidenced by the prevalence of misery, disease, accidents, and war inhis dominion, we now know that Satan is incompetent.

Once I perfect him, and blow into him from My spirit,

you shall fall prostrate before him. [15:30] The angels fell prostrate; all of them, [15:31] except Iblis (Satan). He refused to be with the prostrators.

BELIEVES A certain number of humans, believe in the existence of God. A lessernumber believe in the existence of Satan. However, they both differ in theirconcept and understanding of God as well as their concept of Satan . All of us who claim to believe in God should examine whether our beliefsconform to God's commandments and laws or Satan's corrupted religiousdecrees. The majority of humans, however, while professing to believe in God, havegiven themselves over to Satan. The majority of the Jews, Christians andMuslims follow religious regulations, laws, commandments and rituals, which originate from Satan, not from God . Most people, no matter what you do, will not

believe. [12:103] The majority of those who believe in GOD do not do sowithout committing idol worship. [12:106 ]

    REALITY

REALITYW e will demonstrate, by God's will, that Satan is alive and well andthat his process of corruption and fabrication never stops. God willing, we will attempt to expose Satan's continuing sleaze sinceGod sent His messenger after the prophets to confirm existing

scriptures and to purify and proclaim God's only accepted religion. Such is GOD, your rightful Lord. What is thereafter the truth, except falsehood? How could you disregard all this? [10:32]

    THE CORRUPTION AFTER PURIFICATION

    THE CORRUPTION AFTER PURIFICATION

"R ecall that Moses said to his people, " O my people, you havewronged your souls by worshiping the calf. You must repent toyour Creator. You shall kill your egos. This is better for you inthe sight of your Creator. " He did redeem you. He is the R edeemer, Most Merciful. " [2:54] One of the first commandments in the Quran is to kill your ego (2:54). TheQuran defines various forms of idolatry. One of the worse forms of

idolatry is when a human makes his ego as his god.

" I will come to them from before them, and

from behind them, and from their right, and from their left, and You will find that most of them are unappreciative. " [7:17]

W HEN HE FAILSW HEN HE FAILS

W hen Satan fails to to stop a person from worshipping God alone, he pushesthat individual's ego to come up with religious laws, regulations and beliefs, which have no basis in the Quran under the banner of "God alone, Quranalone." Thus the message of these lost souls is to follow their opinion underthe banner of "God alone and Quran alone"

" You may entice them with your voice, and mobilize all your forces and all your menagainst them, and share in their money and

children, and promise them. Anything the devil promises is no more than an illusion. [17:64]

I don't think we can fully understand why

and how God uses angels in our lives unless we completely understand how Satan works. You better be on guard because Satan isdevious and he will try to keep you away from experiencing a full and satisfying

    relationship with God.

    ISTIADHAISTIADHA

Istiadha is to seek Allahs protection against Shetanand is one of the important aspects of faith and isobligatory on every Muslim. It should be from thedepths of the heart of the person and not just therepetition of the words through the mouth. Thereality requires one to seek freedom from theaccursed shetan and submit to Allah (S.w.T.) for Hishelp. If these two objectives are achieved, then theIstiadha is really Istiadha! Otherwise it will just bean exercise in futility.

    1. Takwa (Piety)2. Tazakkur (Remembrance of Allah)3. Tawakkul (Trust in Allah)

    4. Ikhlas (Sincerity)5. Aijizi (Humility towards Allah)

When a person practices all these five aspects, his Istiadha will be accepted by Allah (S.w.T.).

In other words, when Shetan comes to a muminhe becomes scared of man as an ordinary human being gets scared of the company of Jinns.

TAKWATAKWAVerily those who guard (themselves against evil) when an evilthought from shetan afflicts them, they become mindful (of God and get awakened) then lo! They are forthright. (Sura al-Araaf, 7:201)

Therefore, the very first condition for keeping oneself safefrom form shetan is to become pious. Those who adopted piety, busy themselves in prayer whenever they have fears of shetan in their hearts. They get enlightened that shetan createdthe fears. They also realize that shetan had fled because of their prayer and that they are in the protection of Allah

(S.w.T.). The ayat mentioned above is a pointer to the believerstowards adoption of piety and remembrance of Allah (S.w.T.).

Allah (S.w.T.) says in the Holy Quran: So when you recite theQuran, seek refuge with Allah from the accursed shetan,Surely he has no authority over those who believe and rely ontheir Lord. (Sura an-Nahl, 16:98-99)

One who has trust in Allah (S.w.T.), shetan will have nocontrol on him. shetan can influence only those who dont truston Allah (S.w.T.) and all their confidence is on material andworldly aspects of their lives. When a person doesnt trustAllah (S.w.T.) from the depths of his heart, then all his

pleadings for protection will be of no avail. According to theverse quoted above, shetan would gain ascendance over him.

IKHLASIKHLASThus it is established that the Istiadha of only the persons sincere

to Allah (S.w.T.) is appropriate. Since shetan has no influenceon such persons they are those who escape from his

machinations.A woman who can come to the baz r wearing indecent dress is

shetanic from head to toe! And the man who chaperons such awoman in public can never escape from the attention of shetan. It goes to prove that one who doesnt save himself from whatis forbidden (haram) can never prevent himself from theinfluence of shetan.
