What is the SetSail Pass?

The SetSail Pass indicates the name of the guest that certified the CTC, and any other guests that havebeen certified on his/her behalf. It also shows how the Onboard Account was set up and all guests thatare authorized to charge on the account. Also included is a signature line for the authorized guest of theCTC and Onboard Account.

Important !Any discrepancies or changes on the SetSail Pass will delay or may even be denied boarding at the pier.It is important to remind the guest to carefully fill out the form and ensure its accuracy. Changes can bemade up to 24 hours prior to sailing.

Built-In Business Rules

The SetSail Pass form has the ability to determine if the stateroom has met the sailing minor policy, whichindicates that there must be a 21-years or older guest in stateroom. If this minor policy is not met, theminor will not be able to continue to obtain the SetSail Pass. Instead, the parent or legal guardian, during the cruise, will have to certify their CTC on their behalf by associating them to their online check-in session.

The SetSail Pass will be available to print once Step 1 through 3 is completed, and the booking has satisfied the business rules for printing Guest Vacation Documents or e-Docs (e.g., the booking is paid infull, their are no wait-listed hotels or pending vouchers, etc.).

One guest, 18 years or older, can certify the Cruise Ticket Contract (CTC) for everyone in the stateroom;considering all persons have met all the sailing policy requirements.

Smart Form Features

Guests can partially complete their form and come back later. It is not necessary to complete the mandatory fields in one session.

All mandatory data elements are indicated in red text. Once it is properly filled out, the text will become black.

The form only displays fields that are specific to guest requirements (i.e., Non-US citizens only show document type of Passport or ARC traveling in the Caribbean).
