See What God Can Do Through You

I started attending Elevation over five years ago, and in 2012 I got

involved by joining the Production Team at our Blakeney campus.

I loved getting to run the camera every week, but internally I was

suffering because of an unhealthy relationship. That relationship

eventually ended on the weekend that we started the “How to

Be Brave” series in 2014. The timing could not have been more

perfect, and as I listened to Pastor Steven’s sermons I began to

work through the crippling fear and anxiety I was experiencing.

In the summer of 2015, I joined the Elevation Internship Program

where I eventually accepted a position on the Television Ministry

Team. I now get to play a small part in impacting thousands of

people’s lives every single day by sending sermons to people’s

screens all over the world. I get to hear stories from people like

Vanessa, who recently wrote from Costa Rica to tell us how

watching a broadcast of the “How to Be Brave” series helped

her to overcome the anxiety she was facing. It’s truly a full circle

moment to know that I’m now sending out the same content that

helped me through some of my darkest days.

I love what I do and how I get to support our church, our pastor,

and the capital “C” Church. I’m excited to see where our TV Team

will take the Gospel to next and I’m honored to play a part.
