description

This is the RIG 5 reaction to an apparent DOD - Sponsored "false flag" operation, attempting to label a person in the Olympia community as a police informant. The 'secret crytogram' is a version of the ROT13 cipher, easily decoded to give a time and place to meet. The day of the week ended up being wrong for the date of the month, and two "attempted meetings" were actually held. The team which responded to this overture noted the identities of those who showed up to watch. They ended up being linked to DOD. The person "named" (in similar approaches on Seattle IMC in the same era) is still an active Olympia area activist. All of these operations targeted her.

Meeting to show evidence of a spy.

I am not one of the kids who goes out and stands in the road trying to block an army convoy. Perhapsin my youth I did such things, but my health and age no longer allow me to demonstrate in this way.

However, I pay close attention to the actions of the government, especially the police, and hold themaccountable for what they do and fail to do. If you know what to ask for it is often possible to gathergems hidden in the public record.

Recently I have been looking at police expense reports. Now while they tried to black out the names onthe reports (they crossed out names with a black marker) I found that a little solvent and a bright lightlet those names be read. Unfortunately, scanning the original document makes the blacked out nameillegible when posted to a web-page.

It seems that a certain woman arrested at the Port demonstrations has also been having lunch with thecops , at county expense!

I will show the original document to anyone who wants to see it, but of course have to be careful so thecops can't get it back.

Commentshe who smelt it dealt itPosted by: honest activist at Aug 08, 2008 22:15and how did you get ahold of police expense reports, if indeed you did? Its pretty easy to type any oldthing into a comment box on indymedia.

it's good to be critical... howeverPosted by: t-town lady at Aug 08, 2008 22:50I think it is always a good idea to be critical of those who call others out as narcs, because that is thekind of shit cops do on occasion. However, I do know that police records are sometimes easilydumpster-able, and I would not be surprised if someone got their hands on an improperly disposedpolice report, nor do I think we should totally be surprised to learn of infiltrators. Basically, just becareful!

spook patrolPosted by: agent 99 at Aug 10, 2008 16:22this posting smells like cointelpro disinfo to create paranoia within the online and activist community. idon't suppose that the alleged informant who was arrested was one of those women forcibly thrown tothe ground and dragged by the hair before being locked in jail.

keep up the good fight!

we are much smarter than thatPosted by: Lola at Aug 10, 2008 17:13As somebody who was actually arrested during the port actions in solidarity with with my other brothersand sister who were arrested. The attempt to make breaks through our group is almost laughable. Weall know who is in our midst and people who are genuinly putting their bodies on the line to fight for abetter world. We also recognize those who are not in that fight and their only purpose is to attempt to

break apart and tear down people who are trying to create a situation where millions of people aremobilized to bring this facist trajectory to a halt. We are looking at thing from a thouroughly scientificview. We are giving notice to the state and those working in the interest of state, that we will not beintimidate by your tactics. We are not going to give in to slander, gossip and rumors. Anybody whoclaims to have any "inside information" on traitors in our midsts and then post it on a public website isexposed more than ever that they are actually not a part of acting in the interest of the vast majority ofhumanity. Giving into and spreading these rumors that are not grounded in reality is harmful to themovement and only serves to demobilize people.
