I believe my passions, interests, education, and experiences are well matched to the Joffrey Ballet's outstanding international reputation for quality and professionalism.

I am a Recreation, Parks and Tourism and Dance double major at Radford University in Virginia. Due to my combined interests in event planning and the arts, I will work passionately and become a valuable asset working for the Joffrey Ballet as a Community Engagement Coordinator. During the summers of 2015 and 2016, the Joffrey Ballet employed me as a summer chaperone. I thoroughly enjoyed these work experiences and grew to respect the professionalism demonstrated by the Joffrey Ballet's administrative staff. These two summer experiences provided an exemplary environment in which I learned how to effectively and efficiently work with others, the day- to- day culture of the Joffrey Ballet, and became acquainted with the city of Chicago.

During the spring of 2018 I will be completing an internship at In Balance Yoga in Blacksburg, VA. Throughout the internship I will be gaining hands- on experience in event planning, coordinating, and implementation. After completing this internship I believe I will have further developed and refined my skill set relevant to community engagement.
