Treatment

MULTIVAC offers capable shrinking and drying equipment for the treatment of packs.Products are typically treated with conventional pasteurization, high pressure pasteurization, sterilization or freezing.

MULTIVAC solutions for the treatment of packs and products can be installed as part of an automated packaging line or can be integrated into existing equipment. However, some solutions for the treatment of products may require offline processes.

MULTIVAC HPPThe primary aim of treating foods with High Pressure Processing (HPP) is to reduce or eliminate the relevant foodborne microorganisms, thereby extending the shelf-life and enhancing the food safety.

With HPP, food producers can meet the rising consumer demand for foods that are safe and nutritious, free from additives, good tasting and have a long shelf life. This gives customers extra convenience. Fresh and processed food or ready-to-eat meals with a superior quality can be stored and consumed over an extended period of time.

Marking

The labelling and printing solutions from MULTIVAC cover a large spectrum of inline and offline systems which are suitable for a wide range of applications. Our wideproduct range extends from cost-effective BASELINE labellers to complete labellingand marking systems, tailor-made from individual modules. Case packing

MULTIVAC case packing solutions are suitable for many applications, like thermoform packs, trays, cartons, pouches, bags, flow-packs, plastic boxes, etc. MULTIVAC‘s case packing applications are used in food, non-food and medical industries.

MULTIVAC‘s highly flexible toploading and sideloading solutions are capable to erect, load and close a wide range of case styles and formats - from small display cases to large transport cases. The products can be packed into regular slotted containers (RSC) and shelf ready packs (SRP).

Due to a high infeed and outfeed flexibility, MULTIVAC‘s case packing solutions are designed to fit into almost any production line layout. The product infeed can fulfil different customer requirements: inline, 90° or double infeed - with the products lying flat or being on edge. Also, many different closing options are available - ranging from open release for external closing to integrated taping or hot melt systems. Robot based palletizing solutions offer maximum flexibilty, reliability and cost efficiency. MULTIVAC‘s wide product range allows a perfect modular adaptation to customer‘s require-ments for different products and capacities, factory floor spaces and linked processes. Integration into your ERP system

A lot of our customers are using MES tools to plan, monitor, control and analyse their company‘s production processes round the clock. With the MULTIVAC Line Control (MLC) we seamlessly interface our automation solutions to your ERP, MES, MRP or PPS system.

The MLC is used for end-to-end coordination of packaging lines. It guarantees fast, accurate, reproducible and transparent processes and is easy to use. It can also be used for networ-king and transferring production data to your organizational and data structures.

The MULTIVAC Line Control allows every packaging line parameter to be monitored, recorded and evaluated. It offers a wide range of functions, including coordination of all line components, central management of receipts, and tracking and tracing of your products.

Within an automated packaging line, the MULTIVAC IPC control is the common control system for all of our automated packaging, handling, marking and inspection systems. A unified HMI with a graphical user interface ensures easy and safe operation in more than 40 languages and with more than 200 receipe storages.

Thanks to the individual management of operating rights, an operator only has access to those parameters, which are relevant to him. All settings and important production data are automatically documented. Individual operators and mechanics can logon and logoff quickly and simply with a RFID chip card.

Due to features such as the MULTIVAC Remote Assistance for telemaintenance, the MULTIVAC Maintenance Agent for scheduling of maintenance works, and the MULTIVAC OEE Agent for analyzation of production data, the MULTIVAC IPC control enables an effici-ent and trouble-free production.
