Using UniMobile Connectin many warehouses and production sites, handheld or truck mounted terminals are used tu run erp or wMs software programs. these data terminals make workers more efficient and capture data for management information. UniMobile Connect is developed to run in the background of the main application on the terminal. Via a function key on the termi-nal, UniMobile Connect collects the weight from a raVas mobile scale and inserts it into a predefined field in the erp or wMs ap-plication. a data field needs to be created in the existing erp or wMs sys-tem. this data field then must be linked to a function key on the terminal, that requests the weight from the raVas scale indicator.
installing UniMobile Connectinstalling UniMobile Connect on the terminal is easy, thanks to the installation software on the Cd-roM. you upload the installation program on a laptop or pC, connect the windows-terminal with the pC, start the UniMobile Connect installation software and follow the instructions on the screen. the installation software leads you through the procedure step by step.
