Garland triadDr Aditya Shetty and Dr Frank Gaillard et al.Garland's triad(also known as the 1-2-3 sign or Pawnbrokers sign) is a lymph node enlargement pattern which has been described insarcoidosis.It comprises of:1 right paratracheal nodes2 right hilar nodes3 left hilar nodesHilar lymphadenopathy is symmetrical and usually massive, so called ''potato nodes'', but do not usually abut the cardiac border which distinguishes it from lymphoma3. Involvement of right paratracheal nodes is not magical but rather reflects the ease with which these nodes are identified on plain radiography. Left paratracheal and aortopulmonary nodes are also frequently enlarged, but harder to identify 1.
