ABOUT US

Ranganathan Engineering College has been established by

Ranganathan Rajeswari Charitable Trust, Coimbatore. The Trust was

promoted by Dr.P.Tamilarasi Murugesan, an Educationalist with 30

years of Academic service. She has visited various countries around the

globe. The aim of our college is to Implement "An Engineering with a

Difference" and to achieve "Innovation for Excellence". In tune with

this objective, the college offers world class Technical Education and

Management studies.

Ranganathan Engineering college is located in a congenial atmosphere

with peaceful ambience at a distance of 20 km, both from Railway

Station and Gandhipuram bus stand at Viraliyur post, Near

Thondamuthur, Narasipuram Road, Coimbatore. The campus extends

over 15 acres of land surrounded by serene atmosphere with

background of sloping mountaneous greenery in all directions, where

2010 – 2011. It is away from defile of all kinds of traffic jams and

heavy throng. Ranganathan Polytechnic College is situated in an

games and indoor games which includes Carrom, Chess,

Badminton, Volley ball, Basket ball, Kabbadi, Cricket and a

GYM. Students have also been doing extremely well in

various inter-collegiate competitions conducted by other

Universities and Colleges. The students are supported by a

Physical Director and assisted by a Physical Training

Instructor.
