These guidelines have been created to provide an extensive understanding of what the ramsetreid brand entails.

It is important that it’s followed with accuracy in order to achieve its strong, bold, and consistently simplistic design, across all print and digital communications.

brandmark – primaryOur brandmark consists of the ramsetreid and tagline wordmark along with the R+R symbol.

Where possible the brand should always be reproduced in full colour on a white background. There are times where this isn’t possible. This section of the brand guidelines will guide you through how the brand should appear across all communications in both print and digital formats.

brandmark – secondary (vertical)Our brandmark provides secondary (vertical)alternatives where it is not possible to use the full colour brand on a white background. The options available are: reversed - black/orange, greyscale, and mono.

It is important to be consistent with these secondary alternatives to ensure it follows our unique, brand style.

brandmark – secondary (horizontal)Our brandmark provides secondary (horizontal) alternatives where it is not possible to use the secondary (vertical) alternatives.

The secondary (horizontal) alternatives are to be used only when there are height restrictions and the logo is not legible from a distance. (ie. as signage on a verandah/entry.)

our brandmark rules

clearspaceThe ramsetreid brandmark will always require a safe clearspace from all other text and design elements to ensure the strength of the brandmark.

The clearspace is determined by the height of the capital ‘R’ in the ramsetreid brandmark. It is then halved to be used around each of the four corners of the brand.

minimum sizeThere are two minimum size versions of the brand: brandmark with tagline, and brandmark without tagline. This is to retain the essence of the brandmark on its varying applications.

Brandmark with tagline The height should be no smaller than 20mm on all print, digital applications. This is the recommended minimum size to use.

Brandmark without tagline The height should be no smaller than 12mm for applications that require a specific use of the brand, where the tagline would not be legible. (ie. embroidery on shirts, among sponsorship brands.)

incorrect usageTo make sure the integrity of the ramsetreid brand is upheld, it is important to avoid the examples below of what you must not do when applying the brandmark to communication material.

DO NOT stretch, rotate or distort the brandmark. DO NOT outline the brandmark.

DO NOT change the hierarchy of the brandmark elements.

DO NOT change the colour of the brandmark.

DO NOT change or replace the wordmark with another typeface.

DO NOT apply any drop shadows or other effects to the brandmark.

DO NOT place the primary brand on a coloured background. Please use the mono-negative version, either on a black or orange background.

DO NOT use the R+R symbol in isolation to the wordmark.

externalThe insignia LT std (roman) typeface has been considered for our main headings, sub headings, and pull-outs. Tracking should always be at (-10), and leading at 2pts up from the type size. (ie. type size 14pt, leading 16pt)

The gotham rounded (family) typeface has been considered for our body copy to support the sleek, modern typeface insignia LT std. Tracking should always be at (-20), and leading at 2pts up from the type size. (ie. type size 14pt, leading 16pt)

internal/digitalarial should only be used for internal or digital communication material. This means on websites (mostly body text), word template – letterhead, powerpoint, and email applications.

our stationery suite

business cardsramsetreid’s aesthetic is to achieve its strong, bold, and consistently simplistic design through to our stationery. As a key area of communication for our primary company promoting ramsetreid, exclusively and our product brands, (ramset, danley, and reid) a series of product business cards have been designed.

If an employee is on a worksite from (ie. danley), people will know they work for danley and not the other product brands, but it still provides the overarching view of the business.
