Deliver smiles campaign (Ramadan 2013)

The Holy Month of Ramadan brings joy and happiness in the life of every Muslim. During this

month, the Mercy and Blessings of Allah Subhanaho Wa Ta'ala is being descended upon us

continuously. This month rejuvenates the spirit of care and sharing the wealth at its highest

levels with those who are under-privileged in Muslim Society. As everyone does not possess

the affluence, so, Allah SWT has asked the Muslims, to share His Blessings with those who

are less fortunate and living their lives below the lines of poverty.

As a regular feature, during the Holy Month of Ramdhan every year, The NGO World (TNW),

strives to keep the spirit of giving high and reach the unreached persons, families and

communities at individual as well as institutional levels. This is huge and difficult task to

perform the TNW is always successful with the collaboration of its partner organization

“Deniz Feneri”. (USD 2000/.)

Small contribution was also made by an individual philanthropists “Shahzad Hafeez”. He

donated PKR 42000/. To install an electric water cooler at an orphanage and three

handpumps.

Like previous Ramadan, this year again, TNW planned to bring a

meaningful difference in the lives of the deprived and the down trodden

sections of the society, during the month of Ramadan and will give them a

glimmer of hope and a reason to smile. During the project implementation,

The NGO World in collaboration with Deniz Feneri arranged Aftar Parties

and provided Eid Gifts to the orphans, widows, needy and destiture families

to share the true spirit of Ramdhan-ul- Mubarek.

“The Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) taught the

believer/mu’min is the one who loves for humanity that which he

loves for himself (Saheeh Bukhkari).

SERIES OF Activities:

1. Aftar Party with orphans (Khalqia Razzaqia); mahni sial distt. Khanewal. 73 orphans, staff and

respectful people also invited. Our team and other guest spent time among the orphans. Ballons

and other playing material were given to the orphan kids. It was pleasant occasion to observe

smile on their innocent faces.

2. Water Cooler installed at Umeed centre; More than 50 orphan children, staff and the

honorable personalities also were invite there. Deputy district Office Social Welfare Dist

Muzaffargarh was chef guest there. A cute smile was seemed on the innocent faces of little

angels by having this facility.

3. Distribution of Eid gifts at Khanewal: Here were 80 poor families were provided with Eid gifts

(Ration Packs). These gift packs were distributed in Union council monganwala area, thokar,

inayat pur, pul rangu and basti odd.

4. Distribution of Eid gifts at Village 485; 05 packs were distributed at chak # 485 tehsil shorkot

distt jhang under the supervision of activist Mureed Sultan.

5. Distribution of Eid gifts at Village 487; 45 packs at chak # 487 tehsil shorkot distt jhang were

distributed, here activist was Naveed Ahmad.

6. Gifts to poor families at Multan: 20 Eid gifts were distributed to widows, and orphans in Multan

city here the activist was Zafar Iqbal.
