• Still used more often than Static RAM due to the fact that it is inexpensive I’M A RAM LOL

Static RAM

• Faster than Dynamic RAM• More expensive than Dynamic RAM because

the Static memory cells take up a lot more space on a chip

• Because of the space that these cells take up, Static RAM gives you less memory per chip

History of RAM

• RAM was first made from vacuum tubes and failed frequently

• Used to be much larger, and store less data 4 MB RAM from 1986

How A Ram works

• Food enters the mouth, is chewed up by the teeth, and enters the esophagus
