Baja Student is national level An ATV fabrication and racing event organized for undergraduate

engineering students where student design and fabricate the ATV for a year and in the competition team is

judged by their design skills and their innovation in manufacturing of ATV. I hold the position for head of

steering subsystem and Finance coordinator for IITH MOTORSPORTS

Bike Tear Down Project May-15 – April-16

This project start with the aim of deep understanding of different parts of bike. First phase of this project is

to tear down a bike and getting an overview of what each and every component do.in second phase of this

project we analysis heat transfer analysis through engine cylinder in ANSYS, analysis of chassis through

different test like front impact test and try to regenerate the chassis.

Manual Paddy Transplanter January -16 –April -16

Guide – Dr. Gangadharan R Course Project

We built prototype of rice transplanter used for transplanting the rice seedlings in the paddy field. From

finding need of farmer to designing to making prototype everything is done by our team of four people.

Make is cheaper than what is available in market

Simple design and easily transportable

Can be repaired by farmers.

Compliant mechanism August-14 –November-14

Research on how a compliant mechanism (mechanical machine with no joint) work and find the

method to calculate the force by replacing stiffness at a point to a joint in normal mechanism and last

come with a report of 3 pages which was appreciated by our guide.

Heat transfer analysis of an IC engine August-15 –November-15

Analytical and CFD analysis was done using ICEM-CFD and ANSYS Fluent

Effect of fins on the heat transfer rate.
