RAGCO CONFERENCE RECAP Traci Dorer, Ray Short and Sampla’s Cris Balint attended RAGCO’s Annual Marketing Conference this past week in Nashville in conjunction with Nashville R & G’s 50th anniversary. Held in Nashville R & G’s warehouse, the table top trade show event was very well attended, allowing generous exposure of Jason Indus- trial and Sampla’s product lines. In attendance at a dinner ceremony Thursday evening was Rob Clardy, RAGCO Managing Executive, who would present Jason Industrial with the “Mike Haley 2015 Supplier of the Year” award, graciously accepted by Ray Short. Rob’s compli- ments of both Ray and the overall Jason family were very gracious. Equally worthy of note were Saturday’s presentations of Jason product offerings by Ray, who would effectively promote urethane, Belt Corporation of America (BCA) customizing capabilities, the GPS program and much more. “I would have to say that the highlight of Saturday for me was the introduction of Ray and Jason Industrial by RAGCO President Geoff Long,” says Traci Dorer. “Geoff went on and on with kudos, and how much he enjoyed working with Jason, how we have helped him become more profitable and successful, and on and on.” Cris Balint introduced Sampla, sparking interest with several affiliates. “I found RAGCO’s affiliates open to learning about Sampla products,” Balint says. “Interest in both conveyor belt offerings and production capa- bilities was quite strong and the feedback received was very positive.” Jason Industrial was presented with the “Mike Haley 2015 Supplier of the Year” award at RAGCO’s Annual Marketing Conference in Nashville.
