Wikipedia.com defines global citizenship as ‘the concept of citizenship on a global level’ In international, global citizen may refer to the responsibility of state to act with awareness of the worldGlobal citizenship is related to the international relations theory of idealism

Apartheid-meaning separateness in Afrikaans (which is coagulate to the English apart and hood) was a system of legal racial segregation enforced by the National Party

government in South Africa • Racial segregation in South Africa began in

colonial times, but apartheid as an official policy was introduced following a general election

• New legislation classified in habitants into racial group (black, white, coloured and Indian) and residential areas were segregated by means of force removals

• Black were stripped of their citizenship, legally becoming citizens of one of ten tribally based self-government homelands or Bantustan nominally independent states

• The government segregated education, medical care and other public services and provided black people with services inferior to those of white

During that time, an African who has dark skin…

• Cannot eat lunch in a restaurant which is open to the public

• Cannot send their children to the best school available

• Cannot enjoy the full and free life which all of us want

• That all members of a society are give equal chances to enter any occupation or social class

• Does not mean everyone will have equal income and equal status

Some of the ways…

• -help the people who live in countries that is lack in education such as :

>Vietnam >Somalia >Afghanistan

• -Don’t be heavy at the one side

• The judiciary has taken a pro-active stance in defining clarifying and applying in the concept of equality

• The constitution was very clear concerning equality
