RACKSPACE MANAGED SECURITYWorld-Class Leadership and Expertise

In today’s security landscape, an effective security strategy begins with having the right people with the right expertise. Setting and forgetting the latest tools is simply not enough to effectively minimize business risk. You need highly skilled analysts to actively patrol the network, identify vulnerabilities and respond appropriately to threats.

That’s why Rackspace is proud to employ some of the top

professionals in the field of cybersecurity, and to extend that

expertise to help our customers defend their businesses. Our 24x7x365

Customer Security Operations Center (CSOC) is staffed by experienced

GCIA- and GCIH-certified security analysts who hold many other

certifications, as well as possess credentials exceeding industry standards.

We also understand that effective teams require effective leadership.

In order to develop and manage our Rackspace Managed Security

offerings, we’ve enlisted cybersecurity veterans who’ve held a wide

range of critical roles both within the private sector and the U.S. and

British armed forces. Our leaders have defended critical systems from

some of the most sophisticated adversaries in the world, developed

strategies to manage advanced persistent threats (APTs), responded

“THE GOAL OF SECURITY IS TO ENABLE BUSINESS. NO ONE SECURES AN ENVIRONMENT JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT; WE DO IT SO BUSINESSES CAN ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS. SECURITY IS LIKE BRAKES ON A CAR: IF ALL CARS WENT 5 MPH, YOU WOULDN’T NEED THEM, BUT THEY BECOME VERY IMPORTANT WHEN WE NEED TO GO 50. BRAKES HELP KEEP US SAFE, BUT THE UNDERLYING GOAL IS TO MOVE THE CAR.”JARRET RAIM :: Director, Strategy and Technology

“SECURITY OPERATIONS FAIL WHEN THERE IS AN OVER-RELIANCE ON TECHNOLOGY ALONE.
