Racial Harmony Day, 18 July

Racial Harmony Day was commemorated on 18 July in St Stephen’s School. The theme for this year is ‘Our Cultural Heritage’. Racial Harmony Day is commemorated annually for us to reflect on and celebrate the peace and harmony that we have in Singapore which is built on a rich diversity of culture and heritage.

National Day Celebration and Mass Jog, 8 AugustThe theme for this year’s National Day is ‘Our People, Our Home’. The school celebrated National Day at East Coast Park where the annual Mass Jog was also held. It was a moment of joy and pride for all Singaporeans as the National Anthem was sung and the Pledge was spoken. The melodious sound of the National songs filled the air as Stephenians sang along to them. It was a truly enjoyable day for many and definitely a memorable one for all Stephenians to celebrate Singapore’s independence.

Staff Recognition Day, 1 September

Staff Recognition Day was wascelebrated on 1st September inSt Stephen’s School to celebratethe efforts and hard work of theteaching and non-teaching staff.They were treated toentertaining performances putup by the students. It was aheart-warming and truly specialday for all staff.

Lasallian Staff Dinner, 1 September

The Lasallian Staff Dinner was held atSAFRA Mount Faber “Many Colours,One Community”. Staff from all theLasallian schools in Singapore camedressed in colourful costumes andhad an enjoyable time. It was awonderful opportunity for all theLasallian staff to celebrate thecontributions, dedication andpassion that they have towards theirprofession.

Children’s Day Celebration, 6 October

Children’s Day was celebrated on 6 October inSt Stephen’s School. This year, instead of theusual concert put up by the teachers, thecelebrations were taken indoors – into theindividual classrooms. Stephenians enjoyedthemselves immensely during the classparties where they bonded with their peersand teachers through conversations as theymunched on delicious goodies.

Choral Speaking and Lower Primary Sports Day, 14 October

The Choral Speaking and Lower Primary Sports Daywas held on 14 October. It was a very special dayfor the junior Stephenians as they have workedvery hard over the past few months to put up agood performance for their loved ones. At thefield, the juniors raced with all their might to thefinish line as they competed with one another. Thewonderful cheers from their loved ones spurredthem on to finish the race, no matter the outcome.Following that, they also dressed to the nines andput up a marvelous choral speaking performance.The juniors truly enjoyed themselves and joy wasclearly written across all their faces at the end ofthe events!
