Writing Activities

● Monday - This week we will be looking at the short film Bubbles. Today before you watch the film I want you to think about the title and predict what you think the story in the film will be about. Then watch the film https://www.literacyshed.com/bubbles.html and write a list of describing words (adjectives) or short phrases to describe being inside the bubble. Think about what the Bubble feels like and all the different things you can see.

● Tuesday - Today I would like you to look back at your list of words and write them into sentences describing the journey of the Bubble. Sequence your sentences so they tell the journey in the correct order of the film.

● Wednesday - Today I would like you to write a set of instructions telling me how to blow lots of Bubbles! Think about what you would need and what are the different steps. Use the words first, next, then and finally to start each sentence.

● Thursday - Today I would like you to plan a journey you would like to go on inside a Bubble. You could draw a picture of where you would go and label it. Think about where your journey would start, where you would

How do the children think he will treat his crayons in the future? ● Tuesday - Today I would like you to

● Thursday - Today I would like you to write a list of all other stationary you might find in a classroom or at home that might be friends with the crayons, like a pencil. You could also draw a diagram of the different stationary and a pencil case.
