Raytheon's North Dighton Plant Attracts Sixteen Bryantites
Among the many newer industries of New England is that of Electronics, and the Raytheon Manufacturing Company plant in North Dighton, Massachusetts has absorbed the talents of several recent Bryant graduates.
Known to be at the North Dighton plant are: Patricia Lee, '51, Mrs. Lorraine (Bernard) Conti, '55, Edward Lapre, '49 and Kathleen A. Miguel, Donald Shore, and Richard K. Martin, '58.
Also Charles Almond, '24, Robert Ricci, '51, Bruce Murphy, Antonio Wrubleski and Marilyn (Hirchen) Martin, '55, Clyde Mayer, '56, John Fazzina, '57, John J. Booth, Richard Pelletier, '58, and Beatrice E. Bourque.

El izabeth A. Neilan, '43 Elected To Ba nk Officer Status
President William H. Swift III, of the Plantations Bank of Rhode Island announced the election of Miss Elizabeth A. Neilan to the status of Assistant Secretary of the bank.
Elizabeth, a native and resident of Fall River, has been employed by the bank for fifteen years, and becomes one of the first two women in the history of the bank to receive officer status. She is an alumnus of Sigma Iota Chi, and was recently a member of a panel

HAWKSLEY RE-ELECTED STATE GENERAL TREASURER Governor Christopher Del Sesto has
appointed several Bryant alumni to his administration.
Romeo D. Asselin, '20, of Warren, Rhode Island, was appointed by the governor as Registrar of Motor Vehicles of the State of Rhode Island. He is president of the Asselin Chevrolet Company in Warren.
Anita C. Casacalenda, '52, of Cranston, has been a secretary to Mr. Del Sesto since 1952, and has been appointed by the Governor as his Office Secretary.
Vyra E. Imondi, '55, has been appointed as Personal Secretary to the Governor at the State House. Vyra is a past president of Sigma Iota Beta, and has been Program Production Coordinator with WPRO-TV in Providence.

William J. Sheehan, '42, Warwick, Rhode Island, has been named by the governor to a three-member Advisory Committee on Civil Service. He is an attorney, and is executive secretary of the Associated General Contractors of America, Inc., Rhode Island Chapter. He received his law degree from Boston University Law School.
William H. Woodcock, Jr., '51, of Pawtucket, who has been serving as a material cost coordinator at the Fram Corporation, was appointed as an Executive Aide to the Governor.
Raymond A. Hawksley, '29, was reelected as General Treasurer of the State of Rhode Island. He has held this position since 1949. As a member of the Bryant College National -Alumni Council, Ray served as chairman for the 1957 Barber Scholarship Fund Drive.

On December 15 the Newport Alumni Club of Bryant College held a Christmas Party at "Linden Gate" in Newport.
Gifts were exchanged by those present, and a mystery raffle was held.

Hartford Plans for a party to be held this month
