software allows true point-and-clickoperation. Sample spectra, includingautomatic dark current subtraction, takesonly a matter of seconds. Recording andreading of spectra use the industrystandard SPC format enabling one to easilybuild a spectral library.

Adaptabili ty.The optional RSI-Identsoftware enables the user to put thousandsof reference spectra at ones fingertips byreading and storing any of thecommercially available spectral librariesthat conform to the universal SPC fileformat. With true point-and-click operationthis software identifies an unknown inseconds. The user can create his or herown libraries just as easily as loadingcommercially available ones.
