QUINTUS FEATURES

AutoloaderThe Quintus has a compact Autoloader as an option. Each rack can accommodate 10 sample tubes and it’s possible to pre-load up to 100 samples. Most standard types of closed EDTA tubes will fi t into the system.

Single tube inlet Open or closed tubes, it’s up to the operator to decide. The instrument will automati-cally detect and accept both types.

Shear valveFor highest precision on results the sampling volume needs to be controlled. To get the same volume independent of external infl uence there is only one way to go - shear valve technology.

Big touch screenTo make the handling of the Quintus as user-friendly as pos-sible there is a big 10.4 inch touch screen on the instrument. With the Windows-based software you can easily navigate in the system.

RESULTS

The result screen displays all 24 parameters, scatter and histograms. If you want to make a closer inspec-tion at one of the scatter or histograms, just touch the screen and the image will be zoomed. With the result bar the operator can, at a glance, see if the results are within range or not. The integrated workstation has the capacity to store up to 100,000 sample fi les in the database, all easily accessed with the search function.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT

To verify the system´s performance, control material should be analyzed on a frequent basis. Quintus has advanced functions for quality assurance built into the software with Levey-Jennings charts and XB function.
