It was a wonderful opportunity to be able to undergo this live project at
such a promising start up as Quickli. Our mentors Mr. Saurabh Arora and
Mr. Abhishek Verma were always helpful throughout and by our side
whenever we needed them. This project has enabled us to delve into the
market and understand the businesses and their needs and requirements.
The disclosure that we got by interactions have certainly polished our
interpersonal skills which are so necessary for marketing post graduates.
Mr. Rohan Diwan too had occasionally found time to guide us and boost
our confidence to approach the clients. Besides, we are also grateful to the
entire Quickli team for being very helpful and giving us a much needed
glimpse of a start up environment.
ABOUT QUICKLI
Transforming the way local goods move around a city by enabling anyone
to get any product delivered in under an hour, Quickli is a hyperlocal urban
logistics & on-demand delivery platform that connects customers with local
runners, who pickup and deliver goods from any restaurant or store in the city.
Founded by Sudhanshu Aggarwal & Rohan Diwan, Quickli currently
operates on a full-fledged level in Gurgaon and has already covered most of
South Delhi and in a constant spiralling drive towards rapid expansion. Quickli

HOW IT WORKS?
The vendor schedules a package to be delivered through the Quickli
application or in a method as easy as just giving a missed call at 084-
3100-3100.
The runner arrives in lesser than fifteen minutes at the doorstep who
picks it up and delivers in minutes.
QUICKLI accelerates one’s business by:

THE DETAILS
Pricing: Rs.15 for the first km and Rs.6 /km onwards. Registration is
absolutely free of cost with no fixed monthly charges. Additional
bonus of Rs.200 on sign up.
Service: We mirror your business hours, so we are there when you
need us.
Billing: Sign up, recharge your wallet and we deliver. You decide
your monthly spend.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this live project was to cover as many business practices as
we can from all the sectors vis-a-vis:
Restaurants
Bakeries
Fashion Boutiques
Chemists
Mobile Sellers
Property dealers ( any business related to documents)
Groceries
Flower Vendors
And acquaint them about Quickli, the services associated with it and
persuade maximum businesses to go on board and register with Quickli to
avail the services for delivery of their products.
Having been divided in teams of two, our objective was to on board
as many retail shops and restaurants in the southern territory of Delhi as
possible during the period of one month.
METHODOLOGY
HOW WE WENT ABOUT IT.
We had prepared a list of all the restaurants and retail stores in
Malviya Nagar and Greater Kailash who provide delivery to customers. We
tapped them first, then Saket and even Gurgaon later. Next we prepared a
list of all the fashion boutiques and gift shops there, they were also covered
simultaneously. After covering the list, we tried to persuade those
restaurants and retailers too who did not provide delivery to start by
availing our services.
Our idea was to cover as many businesses as possible making sure we
differentiated our product by luring customers through various offers and
strategized our product in a way that they were convinced to buy. After
capturing their initial attention, we made sure they created their accounts
with us in the first meeting and wherever possible we pasted our stickers
along with handing them a flyer. The sticker was to increase the brand
awareness and brand recall about QUICKLI.
We were in constant touch for follow ups wherever necessary and
made sure that we paid them several visits in order to push them to make
more frequent deliveries.
Soon after, we made sure that they recharged their online wallet
further in order to keep availing our services. We also made frequent visits
for feedback and gather any recommendations that they had in mind for
us.

FEEDBACK & RECOMMENDATION
The last two weeks of our project entailed visits to on boarded
merchants for feedbacks. It was basically to meet those who showed a
decrease in the frequency of orders placed, ask about the problems faced
by them and assure an improvement if there be need for any.
COMPLAINS FACED:
The most common complaint was that the runners arrived later than
the promised window.
Someone mentioned that often there were problems with the missed
call facility since there is no ring at the other end.
There were complaints of repeated updates in the form of SMS and
have professed a considerable amount of dislike as well.
Having listened to their feedback and diligently provided the instant
service necessary, we updated the merchants with contact details of the
technical supervisor Mr. Ankit and assured them top notch quality
assurance henceforth by voicing their concerns to the higher management.
CONCLUSION
Having spent around a total of a 45 days tenure at Quickli we
learned a lot about ground zero sales techniques, business development methods and tactics; and to work on our sales pitch and perfect it to the T. Throughout our entire project at Quickli we gained loads of practical knowledge and experienced a brilliant learning curve.
Working with a start up we understood the workings of a flat
hierarchical organization and realized how fun work can be as well. Everyone at the organization was very helpful and we are grateful to each and every member at Quickli for clearing all our doubts and queries calmly and logically.
Though we realized that along the way even Quickli is facing
troubles and random glitches do spring up every now and then, but the way Saurabh and Abhishek coolly handled the situations and satisfied the agitated clients taught us how to deal with crunch situations. Operational issues do haunt the organization still but we have to consider that it is still in the construction phases. Nonetheless, the organization shows immense potential and has a very interesting business model in times when all the consumers and other businesses look for is ways to find an ease of doing business and Quickli aims at doing just that.
