Open the BB HD box and review the contents
Open your vehicle battery compart-ment and identify the primary Plusand Minus Pole.
Position the BB HD at the positive (+) pole of the battery to find the best installation configuration.

After you have found the best configuration forthe Battery Brain (make sure the compartmentcover will not touch the Battery Brain afterinstallation is complete).

Disconnect the Positive (+) CableToll Free Customer Support Line # 1-877-247-5993
Chassis Mounting Option
Connect the mountingaccessories as required tothe Battery Brain
Connect the Battery Brain to the(+) pole of the battery with thevoltage label facing the + pole
Connect the Positive (+) cable to theother side of the Battery Brain usingthe post provided in accessory kit

Connect back the attachedground wire an appropriategrounded location.

Connect the battery nega-tive cable back to the neg-ative post.

The wired push button isdetachable so it can be easilymounted into the cab.

Engine On Wire this wire must be installed toensure the Battery Brain will not activate whilethe engine is running. Optional Vibration Sensoravailable for purchase.
Locate a wire or fuse that has the 0.5V - 12V (12V unit) or 0.5V- 32V(24V unit) battery voltage when the engine is Running and is at 0V whenthe engine is not running. One possibility is the Oil Pressure Unit if it supplies at least 0.5V.
Attach the wire end of the supplied black engine-on wire to the selectedwire or fuse as located in step "A" above. This may require running awire to the interior of the vehicle. An additional fuse or wire connectionmay be required.
Slide the connector end of the black engine-on wire onto the singleconnector on the Battery Brain that is labeled with "ACC".

Make sure the switch on top of the Battery Brain Heavy Duty under the yellow cap is in the "active" position.
