Jugendstil sought a balance between the bustle of big city life and harmony with nature. Bad Nauheim has remained true to this principle to the present day. The Sprudelhof (fountain courtyard) and the mineral water cure facili-ties open up towards the spa parks and, all together, form a breath-taking work of art.

Cultural events at the highest level take place against this striking backdrop. Events such as the Steinfurth Rose Festival, the European Elvis Festival or the Christmas market also attract thousands of guests into the Jugendstil spa.

Steinfurth, part of Bad Nauheim, is considered to be the oldest rose village in Germany. Since the middle of the 19th century roses have been grown and sent all over the world from here. The charm of these regal flowers is evident throughout the whole town in summer, when innumerable sweet-smelling roses of all colours are in bloom. But Bad Nauheim is not only associated with the queen of flowers. For nearly two years, the King of Rock n‘ Roll lived here during his military service. Elvis fans from all over the world follow his footsteps every year.

Across Bad Nauheim, forests, fruit meadows and fields define the image of the Wetterau, one of the oldest cultivated landscapes in Germany. Numerous sporting activities are available: tennis, horse riding, ice hockey, golf, themed cycling and walking trails together with Nordic walking routes.
