• There were only a few more females who filled out this questionnaire meaning that I will make my magazine suitable for both boys and girls.

2. How old are you?

• This graph shows the majority age of people who were willing to fill out this questionnaire. The majority age was 16years – 18years. Therefore I will aim my magazine at the older teenagers being careful not to make my magazine too mature or immature.

• This graph shows the overall favourite genre from my music questionnaire. The favourite genre was ‘Singer/Songwriter’ so, most of my articles will be about this genre. However I don’t want my magazine to only be about one genre therefore, I will include articles about the 2nd and 3rd favourite genre which are: Alternative and Rock/Pop.

• The result from this graph show that more people voted for my magazine to include articles about a variety of genres instead of only having articles about one genre of music. This means that my magazine will be suitable for a wider audience.

artists?• The results from this graph show the

most popular artists within my target audience. The 1st is The Kooks, 2nd /3rd is Taylor Swift and The 1975. For my first magazine I’m going to feature an artist that is a similar genres.

3-5)?• These results show that people are interested in a wide range of articles to be printed in this magazine. The favourite article was ‘Upcoming Events’ and the 2nd favourite was interviews. Therefore these will be the biggest articles but, I will include some other articles because they also received a lot of votes.

• These results show that most of my target audience don’t already read any music magazines but are interested in finding one. This means that I need to focus carefully on these results to create a magazine that they would read.

equally popular fonts. I am going to make two rough drafts and ask some classmates to vote on which font they prefer.

prefer?• The results from this graph show the

favourite colour scheme for the music magazine was ‘Pastel Colours’ and ‘Black & White’. Therefore the colour scheme of my magazine will be mainly Black & White mixed with some colour to make it stand out.

• This result shows that the overall favourite release time for the magazine is monthly .

11. What is the maximum price you

would pay for a magazine?

• This shows that the maximum price the majority of my target audience would pay is £2.50-£3.50, therefore I will charge £2.50 for the magazine as this is the lower price.
