2. The Purpose of Audience FeedbackThe reason why me and my group use audience feedback is to gain a betterunderstanding on how to improve our products. Without the feedback my productwould lack the features that appeal to my target audience.With the feedback I have received I improved my product further and thereforemaking it more appealing to my target audience. Without getting the feedback Iwouldntt of been able to improve the trailer, magazine or poster.I used several different methods to gain this crucial information such as Wallwisher,Survey Monkey and Social networking sites. 3. What have I learntI have learnt many things from my audience feedback, most importantly I havelearnt how to tailor my products to my target audience. Sending out questionnairescan greatly improve my work as I can ask specific questions about my colourscheme, pictures and conventions.One thing I have learnt from my audience feedback is that you need an appealingsoundtrack to compliment your trailer. Adding in fast paced and up beat music canreally change the style of a trailer. Again the colour scheme needs to appeal to theaudience and even different genders. For example for a girly film I would add incolours that attract a female audience. 4. Gaining FeedbackWallsisherI used Wallsisher to gain feecback on my trailer, herepeople could post what was good and bad about theconventions of the trailer.Survey MonkeySurvey monkey was used to ask questions about mymedia products, here I got a better understanding onthe thought of the target audience.Social NetworkingSocial networking helped me distribute my feedbackmethods and enabled me to reach a bigger audience,my target audience also use social networking siteswhich made it easier to gain feedback. 5. WallwisherThe Wallwisher post told me a lot of things which was good about my trailer, I tookall of these comments and thought how I could improve them further. The setting we used such as the school was good but offered a few problems such as getting permission to film school children. The music which we used for the trailer was also praised, we later changed the soundtrack due to it not fitting with some of the scenes. Many people commented on the props we used and how conventional they were. We took this into account and added in more props into our trailer 6. Survey Monkey (Questionnaire)The questionnaire enabled me to ask questions about my poster magazine andtrailer.With the survey I could ask questions about my font, colour scheme,conventions and so on. This is the kind of detail I needed to improve my mediaproducts.After analysing the results I found out what my target audience loved andhated about my products, a good example of this would be the colour scheme.Many people liked the colour scheme as it was appealing to both genders,there were some people that thought it wasnt colourful enough but thatwasnt the theme I was going for.There were some comments on the trailer about the storyline, many peoplethought it was unclear including myself. We later on changed the trailerslightly by adding in more title scenes and cutting it down a little. Without thesurvey we wouldnt of known about these problems. 7. Summary Main Strengths said about the Magazine The colour scheme and the layout of the magazine was mentioned a lot during the audience feedback stage.Main Weaknesses said about the MagazineMany people said the costumes used for the magazine didntt really link with the film as they were wearing casual everyday clothes. Main Strengths said about the Poster The logo and the props used for the magazine created a house style and related well with the trailer. Main Weaknesses said about the PosterThere were some weaknesses with the poster which included lack Main Strengths said about the TrailerThe main strength of the trailer are the amount of shots that are included plus the relation between the props and thecharacters. Each character has it own style to them which is portrayed through the props.Main Weakness said about the Trailer
