Concept to Codes • Last week
– Presented the QH CEDD and its capabilities and had good discussion around how to expand it to include vocabulary and value set mapping (for a core set of data elements currently in the QH CEDD)
– Discussed the importance of leveraging NQF quality measures as a starter set
– Jeff Klann provided a short demo on composing queries within i2B2 with a specific focus on ontology and highlighting its hierarchical structure
– Discussed potentially utilizing IHE SVS Profile as a technical standard to share and access value sets
• Agenda for 3/13 – – We will address follow up items from last week’s discussion and propose
some ideas on next steps– Validation from community on suggested next steps
• Identification of tasks to be completed within CEDD call and Technical WG call

Work Accomplished• Resolved concerns around the “Destruction of Data” clause in
existing version of DUA • Completed Risk Analysis of Technical Approach
Next Steps• Final validation of updated DUA and consensus voting this week• Discuss updates to the Policy Sandbox considering the role of an
HIE as a data provider• Support Team to compile high-level Security, Privacy, and Policy
Considerations based off of the Technical Approach Risk Analysis
Pilots Team Activities and Next Steps
Work Accomplished• Continued outreach to vendors and potential pilots.
• Conducted initial conversation with Matt Veatch (Quintiles); they are interested in QH and will be putting together some ideas for what a pilot would like over the next week.
• Conducted a conversation with Jeff Brown (Harvard Pilgrim) about Pilots. Expecting to see an MDPHnet Pilot Project Profile soon.
• Note: No Meeting on 03/08.
