FREE TALK ON SUBMARINES NAMED SEAWOLF AT MILITARY MUSEUM ON SAT-
URDAY, FEB. 21- The story of the United States Navy's submarines named "Seawolf" will be theubject of a free talk at the New York State Military Museum here on Saturday, Feb. 21. Retired
uclear engineer Ray Misiewicz will outline the stories of four submarines which were given the nameeawolf by the Navy. Misiewicz worked for 43 years at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory where he
elped designed nuclear propulsion plants and supported the Navy nuclear program. The programegins at 2 p.m. Located at 61 Lake Avenue in Saratoga Springs, N.Y, the New York State Military
Museum is administered by the New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs. Its collectionocuses on New York's military history from the French and Indian Wars to the present day.
OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MURDER- The Schuylerville Community Theater is celebrating its35th year with the first show of its 2014/2015 Season. The show “Out of Sight…Out of Murder” issure to delight and was written by Fred Carmichael (by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc). With a dynamic cast of 9, this show tells the story of Peter Knight – an author grinding out a murderstory in an old mansion where another author was murdered years before. A weird electrical stormaffects a cosmic snafu and the characters from his mind come to life before him and the audience. With their new found freedom, Peter loses control of his characters to become the intended target of murder. Each character is stuck in their “character traits” bringing hilarity and wit to an alreadyunusual circumstance. This ensemble has been having way too much fun rehearsing together and it issure to be contagious to our audiences. The show is directed by Bonnie Thomas, veteran SCT boardmember and director. Performances run on February 21st (at 8 PM) on Sundays February 22rd(at 2pm). All performances will be at the Saratoga Town Office Building on the corner of routes 29and 4 in Schuylerville, NY. The tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for seniors and students but visitors
will find a $2 discount opportunity on the SCT website (www.scttheater.org), SCT FB page and showmailing. For information and reservations, call 695-5480.
