Admission Requirements for Senior College Prog·ram Students who successfully complete the Dietetic Technician program at SCCC are assured of uninterrupted matriculation to Queens College, leading to the BS in Nutrition and Dietetics.
Students must ensure they have completed 120 credits recognized by Queens College including transfer equivalencies, courses required to complete the major, and general education credits. A minimum of 45 credits of the 120 credits must be completed at Queens College to be granted the baccalaureate degree.

Procedures for Reviewing, Updating, Modifying or Terminating Agreement
This agreement is effective for three academic years from the date of implementation (Effective Date below). Unless it is renewed in the third year, the agreement will expire. When any of the programs within this agreement undergo any changes relevant to this agreement, the agreement will be reviewed and revised by both the sending and receiving program. Minimally the agreement will be reviewed at least once a year with particular attention directed to any curricular changes at the sending and/or receiving departments.
Procedures for Evaluating Agreement Upon graduation from SCCC and admittance into QC Nutrition and Dietetics (N&D) program, each participant will be advised by the Nutrition and Dietetics advisor who will provide continuing guidance until successful completion of the BS. Advisors will compile performance data, as is available, on their advisees. This information will be collected and analyzed to assess the program's success and develop recommendations for changes as needed.
Procedures for Publicizing Agreement Notices of Articulation will be placed in respective catalogues, recruiting brochures, and websites. Respective Transfer and Academic Advisors will be informed about and provided copies of this agreement. The program will be described in the Suffolk County Community College catalog and SCCC faculty will advise students of the benefits of the articulation agreement including:
• A strong academic program initiated at SCCC and continued through this articulation agreement at Queens College and an advisement program which assigns students a specific counselor at SCCC and then at QC to ensure that they progress successfully through, and in compliance with, the program.
