HEMOPHILIA- ( X – linked recessive disorder)
Hemophilia refers to a group of bleeding disorders in which it takes a long time for the blood to clot.
The type of Hemophilia inherited by the royal Family of Europe is Hemophilia B or also called as the Factor IX or Christmas disease.
- A largely inherited disorder by families. Usually affects the male.

There are four possible outcomes for the baby of a woman who is a carrier, the possibilities are repeated for each and every pregnancy.
1. A girl without hemophilia
2. A girl who is a carrier
3. A boy without hemophilia and
4. A boy who is hemophiliac.
