Welcome Colleagues to your local ACHE chapter - South-west-Healthcare Executives Association!

To enhance as well as to increase the diversity of your local programming and networking opportunities, South-west-Healthcare Executives Association (SHEA) closely collaborates with the New Mexico Chapter of ACHE as well other groups such as the National Forum for Latino Healthcare Executives. SHEA membership includes execu-tives from some of the nation’s top hospitals and health systems, post-acute care providers, and health plans. Of note, this year, faculty and students from healthcare administration graduate programs are also joining our organization.

The SHEA Board has been actively reaching out to our members to help understand how we can best serve you as we navigate the quickly changing healthcare landscape. The board is actively incorporating your feedback into our strategic plan for 2015-2017. As a new member, we are

career navigation, to increase local education, networking, and volunteer opportunities, and to broaden diversity and increase inclusion in our ranks.

This year we welcome new board members with expertise to improve communications and integrate tools

plan.  We have also been very fortunate to have chapter administrative support from President J. Eric Evans, FACHE and Immediate Past President Alejandra Contreras, FACHE. In addition, the expertise brought to the association with

Diana Schultz as President-Elect will enhance our mission, vision and values. This period of growth has been support-ed by the expertise and presence of our board leaders. With our growth, Eric’s role as an association executive is also evolving to assume greater accountability for out-comes related to the Southwest-Healthcare Executives Association strategic plan.

During this time of transformation we are seeing greater intention to give back, for example, plans include busy CEOs sharing their stories through our Breakfast with Healthcare Champions series and more networking opportunities to include Happy Hour Sessions that will facilitate early careerist engagement and sharing of ideas/best practices.
