We have many events coming up in the next few weeks so please ensure you read this newsletter and all notes that come home carefully so that you don’t miss anything! Mr Thomas is currently in Canberra managing the NSW team at the School Sport Australia Athletics Championships. He will be back on Wednesday. Last week our Year 6 students who will be going to Morisset High attended their final orientation day. Hopefully all our Year 6 students are looking forward to their new adventure and are excited about the new friends and teachers they have met. This Thursday we have our final Kindergarten Orientation day and I believe there might be a visit from someone special! Our K-6 Presentation Day is on this Friday. All students are to wear full school uniform and need to be at school on time in order to walk over with their class. This is a special celebration and an opportunity for us to acknowledge some of the outstanding achievements of our students from 2015. Thank you for all the donations for our Christmas hampers. Please ensure you have your tickets returned by Thursday. The hampers will be drawn at Presentation Day and prizes can be collected from the school office after the ceremony. For those who I don’t see before the end of the year, I would like to personally wish you all a Merry Christmas and I thank you for yet another successful year at Wyee! Mrs L. There are major changes to the School Free Travel Scheme (SSTS) in 2016. These changes will effect all

students who travel to school by bus. An application must be completed if a student

Has not had a travel pass before

Is moving fromYear 2 to Year 3

Is moving from Year 6 to Year 7

Is changing address

You can complete the application online at transportnsw.info/schools-students. Once the application has

been completed please print, sign and date and return it to the school office for endorsement. We will then

forward them all on to Transport NSW. All other students who already have bus passes will be issued with

their new Opal card at the beginning of 2016.

Year 6 Farewell

Our Year 6 Farewell will be held on Monday 14th December. This will be a night for Year 6 to reflect on

and celebrate their time at Wyee Public School. Numbers will need to be finalised this Thursday so please

make payments to the office before this time. Cost $15 each.

P&C News

Thank you to everyone who supported our Mufti day on

Friday. Special thanks to Alipoop’s Christmas Wonderland

and Toukley Car Park Butchery for their great donations.

Our hampers will be made up during this week and the

winners will be drawn this Friday during our Presentation

ceremony. Good luck everyone.

Our P&C will be having a get together this Thursday night at

Pizza Pit Budgewoi and invite you to come along to celebrate

our hard work during 2015. The cost of your meal and drink

will be your responsibility. If you would like to join us please

leave your name at the office prior to Thursday.
