Quality and Performance Committee – terms of reference

• The effective use and utilisation of support services

• Reviewing the audit function• Co-ordination of the Best Value Programme

of fundamental reviews• Monitoring the City Council’s performance

against nationally prescribed performance indictors

• Periodically reviewing fitness for purpose of services (in conjunction with the cabinet)

• Reviewing the decision making process and setting objectives in connection with this
