Preproduction Blogger was a website I had not

previously used until i started this course

It has been the core component of mine and my fellow group members work

It has allowed me and my group to share our work and help each other, as well detailing at times what needs doing and what had been completed

Preproduction

This format was the best for creating the script, as it is specifically designed for screenplays, making superior than Microsoft Word for this purpose

My first use a new technology was with Celtx, which I used to create my script for my preliminary exercise as well as the script for the two minute film.

Production For the filming of our preliminary

exercise and film, we used a Panasonic HC-V10 camera, positioned on a tripod. While the camera shoots good quality footage, it was not too complex to use, which made it ideal for us as we were inexperienced in film making

As our film included non-diagetic voiceover, we also used a ZOOM H1. This proved to be a good decision as it meant our voiceovers were crisp and intelligible fully

Postproduction For the editing of our film, we used Adobe

Premier Pro. This again was beneficial choice. Although at first complicated and difficult to operate, with time I grew to become familiar with it, and towards the end of editing our film was quite adept at it

During the editing stage, we not only uploaded clips and voiceover but also sound effects, which added to our film. These included a gunshot, as well a non- copyrighted song called ‘Chinese Dog’, from http://freemusicarchive.org which meant we could freely use it for our film.
