Who would be the audience for you media product?

• The audience for my genre magazine would be 16-25 yr olds males and females. This is because through research, I found out that many people this aged liked electro dance. Furthermore, in my research, I went on to the reader profile of mixmag to get an insight of the kind of audience that their magazine has (as mixmag was my inspiration) and the statistics showed a few more males over females. However, I wanted to challenge this and make it for both genders equally, including the main image as a female so that more females can start to be the audience of electro dance music. I think that the audience is this age group, as they are young adults who are probably at uni, or starting work, and when they enjoy partying and going clubbing on the weekends to let off the stress. Its an energetic and fun age group just like the genre itself.
