I had a variety of different genres covered and different types of articles featured in the magazine. This is to show that the magazine is not targeted at a specific genre of people, but instead just young people who are into music generally.

There is a constant colour scheme of black, red and white. It is more of a masculine colour scheme, which perhaps loses out on the female demographic, it also doesnʼt feature the garish colours of many childrenʼs magazines (yellow, pink etc.) and so it is established that the audience should be able to maturely deal with more adult issues, particularly those the artists featured are involved in.

I feel itʼs best to have a magazine that doesnʼt necessarily pander to a stereotype or assume a certain level of intelligence or type of hobby in the reader, as other magazines may do. This makes the audience scope wider and allows for the reader to consume with an open mind.
