Your application advantages
Individual alarm programmingUp to 5 alarm temperatures and times can be modifi ed individu-
ally to the product and customer requirements as the upper and
lower limit values in the range of -25 °C till +55 °C (dry-ice to -80 °C).
Tailor-made control!
Date and time displayThe Q-tag® CLm doc irrevocably shows the exact point in time and
the date of all limit violations. The ability to track alarm events is
given at any time and important conclusions on responsibility are
visible immediately. Incorruptibly correct!
Displaying the extreme temperature and duration of excessThe extent of any temperature limit infringements is visible at a
glance, even if no alarm is issued. This is the result of displaying ex-
treme temperatures and the total duration of the temperature limit
infringements. All relevant information is conveniently available
at any time. So the right measures and necessary decisions can be
taken quickly and securely. Intelligent decision-making aid!
Exact measurement of temperature and timeThe Q-tag® CLm doc devices are part of the family of extremely pre-
cise electronic temperature monitors. They are 100% calibrated and
have measurement precision of +/- 0.5 °C (optional +/- 0.2 °C). The tem-
perature measurements can be made at minute intervals over the
whole monitoring period. Even if an alarm limit was exceeded and
the Q-tag® CLm doc has already indicated an alarm, it accumulates
each additional temperature limit infringement and shows the total
on the display. The precision time measurement is down to a built-in
quartz. NIST/ILAC traceable! As exact as a Swiss clockwork!
Data readout without software via USBAs soon as the Q-tag® CLm doc is connected via USB to a PC or Mac,
it creates a PDF/A and an ASCII document. Thanks to the electronic
signature, the raw data can be verifi ed in compliance with the FDA
regulations 21 CFR Part 11. Secure and user friendly!
Document management and archivingThe ASCII and PDF/A fi les generated in the device can be sent back to
the sender via email. They can organise the quality check, analysis
and storage of the fi les. The data can be converted and read directly
into the existing reports, ERP or data management systems. The in-
formation is therefore directly and automatically assigned to the
relevant shipment and products. Organised to save costs!
Effi cient and profi tableIn spite of all of its varied information and the high quality stand-
ard, the devices in the Q-tag® CLm doc family are available at an
extremely attractive price. No other costs for additional software.
Reports can be modifi ed to the existing formats or ERP systems. The
integration of suitable alarm parameters (temperature and time)
can prevent false alarms. This saves valuable time analysing irrelev-
ant temperature limit infringements. Lower operating costs!

Generated ASCII and PDF/A document
As soon as a device of the Q-tag® CLm doc family is connected to a PC or Mac via USB, a PDF/A and an ASCII document will be created, showing the meas-ured temperature and time data.
The clear PDF document includes a temperature graph and a
summary page with information such as date / time of the alarm
events, MKT, etc. All relevant data and results of temperatures mon-
itored are available at a glance and can simply be sent via e-mail or
saved electronically in a folder (see example right).
In addition, the raw data (PDF or ASCII fi le) can be read into an ex-
isting ERP or other data management system directly and the pro-
cess of archiving and tracking can be automated.
The digital signature for both fi les (PDF and ASCII) can be verifi ed
with the assistance of free software, which confi rms the data has
been unaltered (FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 11 compliant).
berlinger smartview® data management softwareSave and manage your collected data centrally on the berlin-
ger smartview® online platform. Here you can fi lter, organise
and analyse your data. You do not need additional software
to install berlinger smartview® on your PC or Mac. All you need
is internet access and a personal registration for security re-
asons. After just a few minutes, you have global access to the
most important data on your shipments. This automated work-
fl ow gives you more time for important matters. Tempera-
ture variances are sent using an email message that is genera-
ted automatically to a pre-defi ned person or group of people.
An individual solution completely modifi ed to your needs or a con-
nection to your existing ERP system; we are happy to test the op-
tions for you.
Q-tag® easy go, confi guration softwareWith the free Q-tag® easy go software you receive the full fl exibility
of programming your Q-tag® CLm doc devices. Up to 99 different
confi guration profi les can be matched individually to your goods
and stored in the easy go. Each profi le can be assigned a separ-
ate tab. Within the shortest possible time you can now assign the
pre-programmed confi gurations on the relevant device from the
Q-tag® CLm doc family whilst your goods are being made ready for
dispatch. Would you like to assign individual information to the
confi guration tabs, e.g. an AWB number? With the easy go software
you can simply store all of this in a text fi eld so that you retain an
overview at all times.
Applications
Data selection, the most precise measurementThe Q-tag® CLm doc family has between 1’500 and 38’000 measur-
ing points via a data memory. The patented memory method is
restricted to recording the most important variances, with a meas-
urement difference of more than +/- 0.5 °C. With the Q-tag® CLm doc
L / LR you can also defi ne your very individual measurement inter-
vals. In summary: more memory, extended operational life and all
relevant data at a glance, shown in a clear PDF/A report with tem-
perature curve.
Q-tag® verifi er software, data controlFree software for checking the accuracy of your Q-tag® CLm doc
data. The PDF/A or ASCII fi le with the collected data can be checked
with this software. Ensure that the raw data has not been manipu-
lated and you have the original data. Complies with the FDA regu-
lations 21 CFR Part 11.
