We have only just started the new fi nancial year and we at Q are off to a fl ying start! So much has been happening and we have so much to tell you. This edition of Q News is all about keeping you updated with what’s on offer at Q and the huge variety of services that we have available including the best in fi nancial services and an extensive selection of medical and health services.

Last month, we welcomed two BIG retail names to Q – just look for the black and yellow stores! We are thrilled with the arrival of Australia’s leading fi nancial provider, Commonwealth Bank which is located just down from Sam’s Warehouse. Also, we could not be happier with the opening of Australia’s Biggest Entertainment Superstore, JB Hi-Fi located next to the brand new Clive Anthonys Appliances Only store.

There have been some other changes in and around the centre that you may have noticed – fi rstly, what used to be known as Centrepoint First National Real Estate has new owners, Lucas and Troy and they have rebranded to Ray White. Our physiotherapy practice, Back in Motion has completed their relocation and are all settled in next door to Mermaid Junction Medical

Centre and we also welcome Chris who is the new manager at Master Cobblers.

Coming soon to Q, we have Don Pepe Spaghetti Factory opening next to Subway, offering an infusion of fl avours and tastes from Hungary, Romania, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Italian and Australian and we also have Rose’s Jewellery and Repairs joining us next to Soie Nails. Watch this space!

Inevitably, the conversation led to the branch managers talking shop and discussing their various products and services. It was then that Carol from Heritage Building Society pointed out that between them all, there wasn’t a banking product on the market that wasn’t available at Q. Darren from Bank of QLD and Dean from Bendigo Bank both agreed saying that after doing a walkthrough of Q and speaking to clients that the range of fi nancial services was extensive!

On a more personal note, Melissa from Rams Home Loans and Amber from Suncorp Bank both believe that in times of economic uncertainty like today, customer service is paramount.
