INTERVAL OF 1000 MM C/C (APPENDIX 6 OF IRC 78-2014). VERTICALLY AND HORIZONTALLY STAGGERED.
3. DIMENSIONS OF INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS SHOWN IN DWG. SUCH AS, SHAPES AND SIZES OF ABUTMENTS, PIERS,
PIER-CAPS AND FOOTINGS ARE INDICATIVE.
4. SHAPES AND SIZE OF STEEL PLATE GIRDER, PTFE BEARINGS, PEDESTAL, RCC ABUTMENT, ABUTMENT CAP AND
FOUNDATIONS SHOWN IN THIS DRAWINGS ARE TENTATIVE AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE IN FINAL EXECUTION

10.ENGINEER-IN-CHARGE WILL ENSURE SAFETY OF EXISTING ROAD, WHEN WORKING CLOSE TO IT. BY PROVIDING
TEMPORARY SAFETY MEASURE SUCH AS SHEET PILES, BARRICADES, ROAD SIGN ETC IN CONSULTATION WITH
TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT.
11.FABRICATION OF STEEL GIRDERS SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED OVER THE TRACKS. THEY SHALL BE FABRICATED
OUTSIDE AND THEN LAUNCHED.
12.PAINTING OF NEW STEEL WORK OF ROB SAND BLASTING OF STEEL GIRDER / MEMBER METALIZING AND PAINTING
OF STEEL COMPONENTS COMPLETE WITH APPROVED ALUMINIUM / ZINC-METAL FOLLOWED BY PROTECTIVE
COATING PAINTING AS IRBM1998 OF PARA-218.
13.THIS DRAWING SUPERSEDED EARLIER APPROVED DRAWING NO. GM(E) MB-95047. IN EARLIER APPROVED
DRAWING TWO PIERS PLANNED INSIDE RAILWAY BOUNDARY, OUT OF ONE PIER PLANNED AT THE LOCATION OF
EXISTING GATE LODGE AND S&T STORE ROOM WHICH NEED TO BE DISMANTLE AT THE TIME OF CONSTRUCTION.

NOTES
1. ALL DIMENSIONS ARE SHOWN IN MM AND LEVELS ARE IN METER UNLESS OTHERWISE MENTIONED.
2. CHAINAGE AND CURVE DETAILS OF ALIGNMENT HAS BEEN TAKEN ALONG THE CENTER LINE OF THE BRIDGE.
3. ROAD LEVEL HAS BEEN TAKEN AT END OF CARRIAGEWAY (I.E. INNER SIDE OF THE CURVE.)
4. COMMON BENCHMARK TO BE ESTABLISHED BY THE FIELD ENGINEER IN CONSULTATION WITH R & B ENGINEERS
BEFORE STARTING THE WORK.
5. GROUND LEVEL AND CLEARANCE OF TRACK AT ROB SHALL BE VERIFIED AT THE SITE BEFORE EXECUTION.
6. ALL THE DIMENSIONS SHOWN SHOULD BE VERIFIED AT SITE BEFORE TAKING UP DESIGN WORK IN HAND. ANY
DISCREPANCY NOTED SHOULD BE FORWARDED THROUGH ALTERATIONS DULY SIGNED, SUITABLE SPEED
RESTRICTION, IF REQUIRED SHOULD BE IMPOSED BEFORE TAKING UP THE EXECUTION OF WORK WITH THE
APPROVAL OF ENGINEER IN CHARGE.
7. DURING CONSTRUCTION OF ROB ALL THE EXISTING STRUCTURE/TRACK SHOULD BE PROTECTED.
8. DURING CONSTRUCTION A MINIMUM CLEARANCE OF 2.360 M TO BE MAINTAINED BETWEEN THE CENTER LINE
OF EXISTING TRACK TO THE FACE OF TEMPORARY ARRANGEMENTS STRUCTURE.
9. REPRESENTATIVE OF TELECOM / SIGNALING, DEPARTMENT OF RAILWAYS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE AT SITE
DURING EXECUTION IN THE VICINITY OF SIGNALING AND TELECOM CABLES OF RAILWAYS.
10.CRS SANCTION SHOULD BE TAKEN BEFORE STARTING WORKS AFFECTING SAFETY OF RUNNING LINES.
11.ALL THE PRE FABRICATED STEEL GIRDERS SHOULD BE LAUNCHED WITH SUITABLE LAUNCHING SCHEME
APPROVAL.
12.COLLECTOR CONSENT TO BE OBTAINED FOR CLOSING OF LC.
13. LC GATE WILL BE CLOSED AFTER CONSTRUCTION OF ROB.
14.THE MAINTENANCE OF BRIDGE WITHIN RAILWAY PORTION SHALL BE DONE BY RAILWAY & MAINTENANCE OF
BRIDGE OUT SIDE RAILWAY PORTION SHALL BE DONE BY ROAD AUTHORITY.
15.DESIGN SHOULD BE AS PER RELEVANT IRC / IS CODES.
16.GRADE OF CONCRETE TO BE ADOPTED FOR VARIOUS MEMBERS OF BRIDGE IS AS UNDER:

19.STRIP SEAL TYPE EXPANSION JOINT SHOULD BE PROVIDED AS PER LATEST MORTH / MOST REQUIREMENT
CONTRACTOR SHOULD FURNISH DESIGN/DRAWING OF EXPANSION JOINT FROM FIRMS APPROVED BY MOST AT
VARIOUS RELEVANT AMBIENT TEMPERATURES TO SUIT SITE CONDITIONS WITH THE APPROVAL OF
ENGINEER-IN-CHARGE.
20.SUITABLE UTILITY DUCTS IF REQUIRED SHOULD BE PROVIDED BELOW FOOTPATH SLAB WITH THE APPROVAL
OF ENGINEER-IN-CHARGE
21.DRAINAGE SPOUT SHALL BE PROVIDED AS PER MOST SPECIFICATION DESIGN CONSULTANT SHOULD SUBMIT
SEPARATE SHEET OF DRAINAGE SPOUTS AS PER LATEST MOST STANDARDS.
22.TYPE OF FOUNDATION SHOULD BE DECIDED BY ENGINEER-IN-CHARGE, BASED ON DETAILED GEOTECHNICAL
INVESTIGATION AT THE TIME OF STRUCTURAL DESIGN, OPEN FOUNDATION PREFERABLY SHOULD BE PROVIDED
AS FAR AS POSSIBLE KEEPING SITE CONDITIONS IN VIEW FOR ANY OTHER SUITABLE FOUNDATION.
23.THE FOUNDATION SHOULD BE DESIGNED TO CATER FOR LOAD COMING FROM NEARBY FUTURE RAILWAY
TRACK, IF APPLICABLE.
24.NO WORK SHOULD BE TAKEN UP IN HAND TILL PROOF CHECKED DESIGN DRAWING WITHIN RAILWAY PORTION
AREA APPROVED BY RAILWAYS.
25.ROAD AUTHORITY SHOULD ENSURE THAT BEFORE LAYING ANY NEW WEARING COAT IN FUTURE EXITING
WEARING COAT SHOULD BE COMPLETELY REMOVED.
26. ALL SITE RECORDS AND RELEVANT DOCUMENTS OF COMPLETION THE ROB IN DUPLICATE SHOULD BE HANDED
OVER TO THE DIVISION FOR PROPER UP KEEP AND MAINTENANCE OF THE ROB.
27. IF ANY UTILITIES IN RAILWAY PORTION AND ON APPROACHES ARE REQUIRED TO BE SHIFTED DURING
EXECUTION
28. THE ROB WILL BE CONSTRUCTED IN TERMS OF MOU BETWEEN RAILWAYS, MORTH AND GOVERNMENT OF
MAHARASHTRA F.NO. 34066/2/2013 - S&R(B) Pt DATED 19TH/ DECEMBER 2017 MRIDC WILL EXECUTE THE WORK
OF ROB PROPER AS WELL AS APPROACHES ON BEHALF OF GOVERNMENT OF MAHARASHTRA.
29.FABRICATION SHALL BE DONE BY RDSO APPROVAL FIRM & INSPECTION SHALL BE DONE IN ACCORDANCE TO
RAILWAY BOARD LETTER NO : 2017/16/CE-III/BR/GIRDER DATED 26.05.2018.
30.PROVISION OF PROTECTION ARRANGEMENT ON IS AS PER IRPWM AND RAILWAY BOARD`S CIRCULAR
INSTRUCTION.
31.RAILWAY LAND BOUNDARY HAS BEEN VERIFIED FROM CERTIFIED LAND PLAN NO. IS TO BE MENTIONED IN
NOTICES.
32.SAFETY, RELIABILITY AND LONG TERM DURABILITY OF THE OVERHEAD STRUCTURE SHALL BE ENSURED
DURING THE DESIGN EXECUTION STAGE AS PER CENTRAL RAILWAY LETTER NO W.641.BR.POLICY DATED
