Marfeel activated on June 11th
By limiting the resources they were spending on keeping up
with mobile requirements, GizChina was able to cement a loyal
mobile readership that trusts their opinion on all things
technology.
The speed and smoothness of the new interface lead to
readers clicking more stories. High-speed content loading
stopped users from bouncing and the programmatic
technology helped to increase the Average Revenue Per User
(ARPU) by 50%.
Resolving structured data issues and activating AMP had a
major impact on the organic traffic to the GizChina.com
mobile site, seeing more than a 100% growth in mobile traffic
since the activation.

For technology sites, the lead up to Black Friday can be one of
the busiest periods of the year. Readers are searching for
information on products to purchase, and advertisers are
trying to reach them. Therefore, Gizchina needed to see that
Marfeel could deliver these results under the pressure of their
most crucial time period.
Looking at the data from November 2019 compared with a 30
day period prior to Marfeel’s activation, we can see how
advertising revenue and traffic metrics show dramatic
increases leading up to Black Friday.
