Data Cleansing Using IDEA® Level 1 is a half-day course for intermediate IDEA users who interact with raw data from range of sources, platforms, and have to blend data to provide an in-depth analysis. We focus on importing pdf files and using @Functions and built in IDEA analytics to validate data.
An often understated step in the data analytics process is data preparation and cleansing. Without taking the necessary steps, data will be of limited use in testing and informing critical business decisions. Data validation is the method for checking the accuracy, quality, and completeness of your data, ensuring that test results do in fact provide a true picture and deliver actionable insights.

Data Cleansing Using IDEA® Level 2
11
Data Cleansing Using IDEA® Level 2 is a half-day class that will guide intermediate IDEA users through the more complicated @Functions and equation logic to cleanse, format and profile data to extract maximum value and deliver meaningful insights.
Data cleansing is a critical step in the analysis process, one that can be extremely time- consuming, without the proper aptitude and proficiency. When information systems do not meet the stringent data input requirements, the data that is extracted tends to be poorly formatted or missing entirely. Analysts will then be forced to cleanse the data before it can be utilized for further testing.
