• Metro has reached out to 30 organizations to gauge interest including:
– Santa Monica Mountains Conversancy, California Native Plant Society, Tree People, Million Trees LA, Griffith Park, LA Zoo, County Parks and Rec, LA Conservation Corp, and local gardens and nurseries
• Of those interested, many have specified certain criteria that the trees must meet, especially sizes of trees.
