• Length of pile installation will be on Wilshire from Orange Dr. to Detroit St.
• Pile installation includes:
– Rig to construct 95ft (L) deep hole on 7 center to center spacing
– Crane lifting 95Ft (L) , 24 Inch H-piles into holes
– 1-2 piles per day, 390 piles total
– Drilling, pile installation and backfilled concrete completed same day
• All work occurs behind a k-rail.
• Operation anticipated to take approximately 4-6 months on each side of the street.
• Typical works hours 7am-11pm.
• Wilshire will be reduced to two lanes each way during construction.
