Milo B for his fantastic attitude to all his work.
Year 2 Cerys P for her dedication and commitment in her role of the very hopeless camel.
Ella R for standing in as a wise man (very last minute) in Nativity and doing a brilliant
job!
Year 3 Dylan K for fantastic writing.
William E for taking part in class discussions and working hard.
Year 4 Samara F for her positive attitude and wonderful personality.
Charlie S for working hard to produce high quality creative work in Art and English
Year 5 Benjy F for really imaginative and engaging Big Write.
Sonny C for outstanding sportsmanship all week.
Year 6 Harijs B for some super make do and mend work on Wednesday.
Peaches C for her make do and mend project.
Year 2 Forest School
Year 2 have been looking at materials this term, so during our Forest School session we looked at the
different textures we could find in the woodland.
We had a long list including: prickly, mushy, sharp, bristly, bumpy, powdery, spongy and coarse. As you
can imagine some were harder to find than others, but in the end with lots of investigating the
environment we managed to find them all.
The challenge was then on to make a picture using natural materials which included as many textures as
possible. As you can see from the pictures, the children rose to the challenge and produced amazing
textural pictures.
Nativity Productions
We have been very lucky to have two wonderful versions of the Christmas story performed in school
this week. With dress rehearsals for the school and performances for parents, Christmas is definitely in
the air. A big thank you to everyone who attended and supported our Nativity productions of 'The
Hopeless Camel' and 'Prickly Hay.' A huge well done to all the children and their teachers, as well as
parents who have helped with costumes and learning lines and all the songs. The children loved
performing for you and we think you will agree that they were superstars!
Top Table The nominations for the top table next Monday are:
After Christmas, we will be inviting the children in the Reception classes to join the top table as a reward
for good lunchtime behaviour. As a reminder, If children are nominated, they can bring a friend of their
choice to the top table with them.

Year 6 Finale Day
On Wednesday, Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed their
Britain at War finale. They all looked fantastic in their
outfits and it was lovely to see the effort they had
gone to in preparing props to help them get into
character. In the morning a range of activities from
games to cookery and speech giving took place but
the favourite activity for many was the make do and
mend task. We saw some fantastic creations such as
wallets, cushions and even a pair of shorts! We hope
you enjoy looking at a few of the pictures from the
day!
