A little boy asked, “How much are the puppies?”

The store owner replied $50.

One little puppy was lagging and limping considerably. The little boy asked, “What’s wrong with that puppy?”

The store owner explained that the little puppyDid not have a hip socket. It would alwaysLimp and it would always be lame.

The boy became excited and exclaimed,“That’s the little puppy that I want to buy!”

The little boy got quite upset. He looked Straight Into the store owner’s eyes, pointing his fingerAnd said, “I don’t want you to give him to me. He is worth every bit as much as the other dogs. In fact, I’ll giveyou $2.28 now, and I’ll pay 50 Cents a month until he is paid for in full.”
