WHO WE ARE Pulsit Electronics is a South African based Telematics Solutions Provider established in 2002 with specific focus on Tracking and Fleet Management Solutions in the transport and logistics industries. Our capabilities include the design, development and supply of solution components and services, implementation and solution hosting. Our solutions are also used in other industries and applications including Cold Chain, Environmental, Mining and Utilities. Our telematics solutions allow clients to monitor and manage remote and mobile assets through real-time communications and user friendly visualisation (software, e-mail, etc.) interfaces that present information on the user’s desktop, whether at the office or on the road. Our management team are experienced knowledge workers from the Transport, ICT and periphery industries. Our ability to develop, deliver and support customised solutions to client requirements lies in the knowledge and experience of our people and strategic alliances with very specific technology partners. Our key resources have in excess of 70 years combined experience with GSM/GPRS and satellite based tracking solutions, telemetry applications and various software platforms across a broad range of industries.

3. SOLUTIONS: PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

3.1 Fleet Management and Tracking Applications The provision of Fleet Management and Tracking solutions to the transport and logistics industries is our core business focus. With access to various tracking and fleet management products, we offer our clients a wide range of GSM/GPRS and satellite based solutions, ranging from basic tracking to comprehensive fleet management functionality. Pulsit Electronics has also developed fleet management and tracking products and add-on components, e.g. cold-chain monitoring, to enhance solution options to our clients. Our PulsTrack and PulsFleet application specific software platforms were developed and are maintained in-house to ensure that we deliver what our clients require. The in-house development team allows for quick expedition from development to client implementation. All of our Fleet Management and Tracking products are integrated into our Pulstrack and PulsFleet visualisation platforms to provide a single software interface to clients for complete fleet management functionality.

3.2 Telemetry Applications Our extensive knowledge of products and technology also allows for the development and implementation of solutions for telemetry applications. Thus, providing our clients solutions to monitor and control their remote assets according to their needs. Our solutions follow an open architecture philosophy for data management and visualisation that allows for customised interrogation and display of data, including but not limited to:

Business-to-business solutions through interfacing with third party applications

End user visualisation ranging PC-based and Web- based software, e-mail reports, and e-mail and SMS notifications or combinations thereof.

3.3 Services

3.3.1 Maintenance and Support

Pulsit Electronics provides maintenance and support services for installed telematics equipment to ensure that our clients have access to technical resources on a 24/7 basis. Technical support services are provided to our clients through our own team of skilled technicians and our Value Adding Provider (VAP) network in South Africa and SADC countries (see Geographic Footprint), who are trained for the installation and maintenance of any telematics solutions that we offer. Dedicated infrastructure ensures:

24/7 standby personnel at your disposal for urgent inspection and repair of installations,

Regular interfacing with all clients to ensure that telematics systems and equipment is performing to your requirements, and

Visits to clients to monitor software performance, and perform upgrades when available, to ensure optimum performance and maximum availability.

Quality of work through rigorous quality control procedures.

3.3.2 Bureau Services

Our internal Call Centre operates on a 24/7/365 basis, and facilitates Bureau and Vehicle Recovery Services to all our clients who require one or both of the available facilities. Our Call Centre serves as a central contact point to clients for technical enquiries, emergency and after hours support. Vehicle recovery and emergency support services are provided in association with Capital Air which has operating infrastructure and personnel in South Africa and the majority of SADC countries.

3.4 Technical Consulting and Support Professional consulting and support services are available to our clients on all aspects of telematics applications. These include solution development, implementation and management to suit specific application requirements.

3.5 Client Relationship Management With our Call Centre as the operational hub for client support Pulsit Electronics utilises CRM (Client Relationship Management) practices to ensure managed and structured maintenance and technical support to our clients. This service channel allows us to register any technical issues and or queries.

3.6 Strategic Alliances Our strategic alliances with key industry players, including product suppliers, communications service providers and software developers enables Pulsit Electronics to offer and provide telematics solutions to our clients that are specific to their individual needs and requirements. Our core strategic partners are South African based, ensuring immediate availability of and direct access to key resources for solution development and implementation.

3.7 Geographic Footprint Pulsit Electronics has established a client base and VAP network in a number of southern African countries since inception. The recent acquisition of Origin Solutions and Unitech Limitada (in Mozambique) has further expanded our support and service infrastructure in southern Africa, with our current combined geographical presence as indicated below:

3.8 Accreditation and Associations

3.8.1 VESA Membership

Pulsit Electronics is an accredited VESA (The Motor Vehicle Security Association of South Africa) Installation Centre since 2005 (Membership No: 202067). We also obtained product and systems accreditation from VESA in April 2012 (Membership No: 301660). Our VESA membership provides various benefits to Pulsit Electronics and our clients, including (but not limited to)

Approval of Pulsit’s tracking and fleet management products and services for active tracking, feet management and recovery services by VESA.

Approval of Pulsit’s systems and infrastructure for vehicle recovery services in Southern Africa by VESA

Approval of Pulsit’s related products, services and systems for insurance purposes by SAIAS associated insurance underwriters and brokers through VESA accreditation.

3.8.2 Insurance Underwriters Approval

Pulsit Electronics’ Call Centre provides 24/7/365 monitoring and bureau services to a number of our clients who transport high value commodities. As part of insurance requirements for some of these clients our Call Centre was audited by their underwriters including Lloyds of London and IUM (Insurance Underwriters Managers). The Pulsit Electronics Call Centre was found to be compliant with all of the necessary requirements and we were awarded approval by the insurance underwriters.
