Exports/ Imports- The US is Puerto Rico's main trading partner Exports-chemicals, electronics, apparel, canned tuna, and medical equipment Most imports come from the US, and some from Netherlands, Dominican Republic, and the UK. Imports-Chemicals, machinery and equipment, clothing, food, fish and petroleum How it influences culture in the US- People who visit Puerto Rico will probably want to visit the US.

Unemployment- Has gone up from 16.9% to 14.9% since March to now.How it Connects to the US- The US also has a higher birth rate than death rate. Puerto Rico has a improving economy, not like the US.
